Citynet Conferencing
Last month we introduced our new telephone conferencing program that offers both free and premium service. The system is extremely easy to use and to set up a conference call for business or personal use. The Premium service provides lots of convenience for the person who acts as the call leader. The call leader can use their personal computer to set up the call, gain access to our toll-free dial in number and pin, review those joining the call while the call is in session (without the constant chatter of "did someone just join the call"), the ability to mute or terminate anyone on the call, and the ability to set up recurring conference calls as needed. Bethany College, a private college in West Virginia’s Northern Panhandle, is the first "official" business to utilize Citynet’s Premium Conferencing. They are saving a significant amount off from their former provider and find the system easy to use and completely reliable. If you would like more information about Bethany College go to their website (www.bethanywv.edu). For more information on Citynet Conferencing, check out our Conferencing website (http://www.citynetconferencing.com) for all the details, or call us at 1 800.903.8906.
Citynet Wholesale
Our Wholesale Division continues its rapid expansion into 7 additional markets targeted for completion in December 2005 and January 2006. By expanding the company’s industry leading DWDM network architecture into these markets Citynet continues to address and solve key regional solutions necessary to serve the growing bandwidth demands for many national and regional telecommunication providers. Citynet’s continued expansion benefits our customers and the markets we serve by introducing new and untapped opportunities to deliver advanced broadband technologies. In addition, Citynet Wholesale has also announced plans to develop a comprehensive wholesale Ethernet service spanning ranges from 50 Mbps to 1 Gbps (Gigabit Ethernet). As a very successful 2005 wraps up Citynet Wholesale has no time to rest on past success. The company’s 2006 Growth Plan is already shaping up to include continued expansion made possible by numerous new market and customer opportunities. Citynet’s technology leadership coupled with its focus on underserved Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets is quickly solidifying the company’s goal of becoming a premier regional network.
Affordable Flash Development
Citynet’s web development team has recently stepped up its efforts to provide cost effective Flash development and has produced a fictitious website as an example of their ability to deliver creative and engaging web experiences. There are several examples in their portfolio at http://portfolio.citynet.net/portfolio.cfm?type=3, but the most recent addition is "The Icarus" - http://portfolio.citynet.net/icarus/ .
Flash (Macromedia Flash) refers to both the authoring software and the virtual player that delivers flash content. The software is a multimedia development environment that utilized vector and raster graphics, ActionScript and bidirectional streaming of video and audio.
Flash is used for website and presentation building and for developing mobile content; it is the most widely deployed video platform on the Internet. This provides web developers with powerful tools to build appealing websites that incorporate interactive content, motion graphics, video and audio. Call Citynet Sales today at 1.800.903.8906 to get a quote for a flash website.
