VoIP – Internet Telephone at home!

Certainly by now you’ve heard the phrase and seen some advertising about using the internet to make telephone calls – local and long distance. But, did you know that Citynet is introducing our Internet Telephone service in the New Year? Yes, Citynet will begin offering residential internet calling to anyone who has a broadband internet connection. The advantages are many and include the ability to retain many of the calling features you currently enjoy on your "landline" telephone such as voice mail, caller ID, call waiting/forwarding, 3 way calling and more. Priced at under $30.00 per month you will have UNLIMITED local and Long Distance calling with Citynet Internet Telephone, plus all the features listed above and some very exciting features you can’t have from a "landline" telephone. Features like, online signup and account control, pick your own number from within our service territory (or cancel your existing telephone service and bring your current telephone number to Citynet Internet Telephone) and mobility – take your phone with you anywhere you go with a broadband connection and it’s like you are still at home, plus check your voice mail from your phone, your email, or online! Citynet Internet Telephone will even work with your existing telephones because of a specially designed interface available from Citynet! No need to buy new, expensive equipment. This new and exciting service will be available soon for small businesses, too! For more information, call us at 800.881.2638 or check us out online at: www.citynet.net

Citynet Wholesale

Citynet’s Wholesale division is wrapping up an extremely successful 2005. The wholesale division has grown its customer base by 35%, adding strategic wireless and cable providers to its already significant list of carrier clients. As the regional provider of choice in West Virginia, Ohio, Pennsylvania and now Indiana, Citynet Wholesale continues to expand and deepen its network presence in under-served markets. In addition, strategic interconnections are underway that will enable Citynet Wholesale to provide even more direct access opportunities to carriers in our footprint. Looking forward to 2006 Citynet Wholesale has another exciting year of growth ahead. The company plans to add additional tier 2 and tier 3 markets, launch its carrier class wholesale Ethernet services, and expand key engineering and planning projects with its carrier customers.
