Citynet Purchases MountainNet

Our growth has continued through the summer, as Citynet recently put the finishing touches on the acquisition of MountainNet, a Morgantown based ISP. To read the full release check out http://www.citynet.net/pressrelease.cfm. Citynet purchased the ISP in June of this year and have been transferring resources for the past few months. The transition occurred without a hitch and all customers are utilizing the same network. What this means to current customers an extended emphasis on network infrastructure, product diversification, and expanded support tools. Citynet welcomes the new customers to our online family and look forward for more great things from Citynet in the year to come.
New Low Cost-High Speed Access Solution Available Now

For those of you who need more speed, Citynet's satellite solution is now available. This high speed Internet access solution works in conjunction with your current dial-up Internet connection. All upload requests occur off the dial-up connection while data is delivered to you over the broadband satellite connection. Satellite users can expect a download around 400 kb or roughly 8 times faster than their normal dial-up connection. This would be a great gift for the "Internet Junkie" this holiday season. Contact Citynet Sales at 1-800-881-2638 for more information on this product.
Citynet is now National

If you are going to be traveling through the Holidays or throughout the year Citynet now offers National Internet Access. Offering Points of Presence (POP's) in each state across the country, you can surf the Internet from anywhere. So if you will be traveling on business or pleasure you can always be in touch with Citynet National our newest product. Usage will be limited to five hours per month. After your five hours has expired you will be assessed a $1.00/hour service fee. For more information or to get a national number contact 1-800-881-2638.
