Digital Telephone Service

Since the introduction of Citynet’s Digital Phone Service, we have experienced a great deal of excitement from our customers. In the past newsletters we have focused primarily on residential users. This month we’ll concentrate on our Citynet Business Digital Phone Service. Like our residential service, our business service provides your business with all of the familiar features. Unlike your current service, Citynet Business Digital Phone Service provides business owners additional exciting features; including complete control of your phone with our online account manager. You decide via our Schedule feature when your phone rings, where it rings, and even when it doesn’t ring. You can use our new business PBX feature to establish extensions and speed dialing – even to remote locations. You decide when your new automated attendant answers calls or when they should go directly to voice mail – such as after hours. You can even send after hour’s calls directly to your home or cell phone – or anywhere else for that matter.

Citynet’s Business Digital Phone Service works in conjunction with our existing business iTone Service by adding additional functionality and ease of use. Like our existing iTone Service, Business Digital Phone Service will work with most existing PBX or phone equipment so there is no expensive equipment to purchase. Plus, you can bring your current telephone number to Citynet. We do all the work for you!

If you’ve been searching for a next generation solution to your business communications needs, it is here NOW! Business Digital Phone Service starts at only $39.95 per month, per line. This price includes unlimited local dialing as well as a very generous long distance dialing allotment. There are also significant discounts available depending on how many lines or combinations of Citynet services your business needs. Current customers are enjoying savings of 20-40% off the cost of their former telephone provider service and enjoy many new features, all with Citynet’s 99.99% network reliability.

CITYNET DIGITAL TELEPHONE SERVICE – FINALLY...YOU’VE GOT CONTROL!!!

HB4536 – A New Law in WV

During the 77th West Virginia Legislative Session, representatives in Charleston passed HB4536 by an overwhelming margin. HB4536 places limits on the operation of a telephone company’s automatic renewal provisions. The bill states that business owners will face liability of no more than 1 month service at the expiration of a current contract or no more than 2 months service if the contract has automatically renewed.

To businesses, this means choice. Many customers across the state were stuck in long term contracts that automatically renewed. This legislation gives business owners the ability to exit contracts with little or no penalty. The result: BIG SAVINGS for businesses across West Virginia!! Governor Manchin is expected to sign the legislation into law very soon.

If your contract has automatically renewed, or is about to expire, contact Citynet to see how much we can save your business (normally 25-40%). Call us, today, at 800.903.8906.

Citynet Wholesale

Citynet’s wholesale division exhibited at CompTel Plus at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in San Diego on March 19-21. Our mission for this show was to communicate Citynet’s excellent coverage of Ohio. We currently have 17 POPs in Ohio, with 2 more coming soon. The message used to get the word out - "Columbus discovered America. Citynet discovered Ohio. Discover Citynet." Our "old world" theme conveyed Citynet Wholesale’s commitment to unparalleled service and customized solutions. By the end of the show, attendees were stopping our booth staff on the show floor and shouting out, "Citynet Discovered Ohio!"

Citynet’s President/CEO, Jim Martin, was invited to join CompTel’s CEO Council. He attended the Council breakfast along with CEOs from many other telecommunications providers. Teresa Hilligoss, Citynet Wholesale National Account Rep, was one of a three-member panel moderated by Atlantic ACM’s Judy Reed-Smith. Teresa’s topic "From Bandwidth to Brandwidth: Managing the Customer Experience," enabled her to use her marketing expertise to share how Citynet uses branding and why developing a positive brand image with customers is based LESS on marketing plans and MORE on their experiences as your customer. We are very excited about the response we received in San Diego. The show was a big success on all accounts!

Youngstown, OH

Citynet is working hard to develop our service availability in the Youngstown, Ohio market place. Youngstown fits very nicely with Citynet’s business plan of providing next generation products and services to Tier 2 and Tier 3 markets. We should be ready to turn up our network in the Youngstown LATA and provide service to that market by mid-May.
